Bio

Danielle entered the Mars Hill University Athletic Training Department in August of 2008. 

She is currently the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Education Department and serves as ATC for the women’s soccer and softball teams. In her time at MHU, Danielle has been a part of the NCAA Division II softball regional appearance, a recipient of the Asheville Police Department Citizen of the Year award in 2014 and a part of the staff to receive the National Athletic Training Association Above and Beyond award in 2016.  She received her BS in Athletic Training from Mars Hill College in 2005 and then completed her MA in Physical Education from University of North Carolina Pembroke in 2007, where she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer. Before coming to MHU, she spent one year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Tennessee Wesleyan College. 

A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Danielle resides in Mars Hill.
