Bio

Adam Williams was named Director of Athletic Communications in June, 2019.

Williams arrived to Mars Hill in 2017, being named the Assistant Sports Information Director.  He served as Interim Director of Athletic Communications from January, 2019 to June of the same year.

He began his career as a Sports Information Assistant at Lock Haven University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication in 2013.  He later received his master’s in Sports Administration from LHU in 2015.

Prior to his hire at MHU, Williams spent time in West Palm Beach as a Communication Coordinator for a multi-level marketing company in the health and wellness field.  He was responsible for all digital and social media services, public and media relations, and established an internship program that allowed students in the South Florida region to gain experience in their chosen field.

He is originally from Canadensis, Pa., but currently resides in Asheville, N.C.
