Randolph named USA College Sports All-American
MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill senior tailback Jonas Randolph has been named to the 2011 USA College Sports Division II Senior All-America team. A total of 10 South Atlantic Conference players were voted to the squad.
Randolph, a Harlon Hill Trophy Top-Three Finalist, has already been voted the 2011 Daktronics Super Region Two and South Atlantic Conference Offensive Player of the Year. A Beyond Sports Network All-America Finalist, he led the nation in rushing and the Lions to their first NCAA postseason berth.
Randolph averaged 197.27 rushing yards per game. His 2,170 rushing yards in 2011 and 5,608 career rushing yards established new South Atlantic Conference records. Randolph posted six games of 200 or more rushing yards and nine games of over 100 rushing yards.
