Randolph leads NCAA Division II in rushing

MARS HILL, N.C. - Mars Hill's Jonas Randolph is first in the nation in rushing, according to the latest NCAA National Rankings Summary. The Daleville, Ala., native is averaging 180 yards per game on the ground.
Randolph ranks fifth in all-purpose runners at 189.60 yards per contest. The Lions rank eighth in the country in rushing, averaging 249 yards per game on the ground.
On defense, Mars Hill is 31st in sacks (2.60 per game), 35th in pass defense (176.80 per game), and 44th in pass efficiency defense (109.73).
The Lions host Wingate on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
