2015 Football Schedule Released
Head coach Tim Clifton has announced the 2015 Lion Football schedule.
MARS HILL, N.C. - Head football coach Tim Clifton has announced the 2015 schedule. The Lions open the season on September 5.
Mars Hill will start the 2015 campaign playing two NCAA Division I opponents in Western Carolina and Chattanooga. The Lions will host Limestone in their home opener on September 19, and then start South Atlantic Conference play the following weekend hosting Carson-Newman.
Homecoming is set for October 3, when the Lions will host North Greenville. MHU will play at SAC foes Newberry and Catawba before hosting Lenoir-Rhyne on October 24. An away game at Tusculum on Halloween rounds out the October schedule. After hosting Wingate the first Saturday in November, Mars Hill closes out the regular season at Brevard on November 14.
All home games will begin at 1 p.m. with the exception of the annual Homecoming game that will start at 1:30 p.m.
Ticket prices for Lion home football games will be announced at a later date.
