Men's Basketball Picked to Finish in 11th in Preseason Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C.- The Mars Hill men's basketball team has been chosen to finish in 11^th place in the South Atlantic Conference in a preseason poll of the league's coaches, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Mars Hill recorded 30 points, finishing behind 10^th place Tusculum (51 points) and ahead of 12^th place Brevard (27 points). The Lions finished the 2014-15 season with an 11-17 overall record and 6-16 record in the SAC.

MHU will travel to Presbyterian on Monday, November 9 for an exhibition contest at 7 p.m. The Lions begin regular season play at Belmont Abbey on Friday, November 13 at 7:30 p.m.
