Dawkins named to All-SAC Third Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill junior guard Kadyn Dawkins was named to the 2023-24 All-South Atlantic Conference Men's Basketball Third Team, as released by the league Monday morning.

Dawkins, a native of Gibsonville, North Carolina, ranked fourth in the conference and led the Lions, averaging 19.4 points per game. Dawkins was the only Lions to start and appear in all 27 games this past season. He totalled 524 points on the year. 

Dawkins led the Lions in field goals made (164), three-pointers (68), free throws made (128) and percentage (90.1). He also led the team with 80 assists and 48 steals. He finished second on the team with 86 rebounds, one shy of the team lead held by Caleb Mauldin.
