Men’s Golf finishes 10th at SAC Championship

CONOVER, N.C. - Mars Hill finished 10th at the 2011 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship which concluded Tuesday at the Rock Barn Golf & Spa.

Chad Skinner finished tied for 37th after a final day 246 (79+80+87). Chase Lippard finished second on the team and 40th overall with a 247 (79+81+87).

Newberry, ranked No. 19 in NCAA Division II, automatically qualifies to the NCAA Regionals with its first-place finish. This year, the regionals take place May 2-4 at the Victoria Hills Golf Club in Deland, Fla.
