Lions Finish in 10th in Tusculum Fall Classic

GREENEVILLE, Tenn.-- The Mars Hill men's golf team finished in tenth place at the Tusculum Fall Classic, which concluded Tuesday at Link Hills Country Club.

The Lions finished with a 36-over 604. Dylan Payne finished six-over par as the Lions top performer. He shot a 74, three-over in each round of the event to finish at 148. Chase Dembisky finished one stroke behind Payne with a score of 149. Lincoln Memorial won the team championship with a six-under 562. Connor Froming of LMU won the individual championship with a six-under 136.

Seth Sayler and Mason Light each finished with a 12-over 154 for Mars Hill. Lucas Harper rounded out the scoring with a 15-over 157.

Mars Hill will compete in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate in Sunset Beach, N.C. beginning Sept. 30.
