Lions in 15th after First Round

PINEVILLE, Ky.-- The Mars Hill men's golf team is in 15th place after the first round of the State Farm Intercollegiate, which was played Monday.

The Lions carded a 37-over 325 on the day. Dylan Payne recorded Mars Hill's best score of the day, a seven-over 79. King College leads all teams with a five-over 293. Mike Marcagi of Thomas More and Arran Setro of Anderson are tied atop the individual leaderboard with a one-under 71.

Chase Dembisky finished a single stroke behind Payne for the Lions, with an eight-over 80.

The final round of the State Farm Intercollegiate will be held tomorrow.
