Lions Place 10th at Tusculum Spring Invitational

GREENEVILLE, TENN.-- The Mars Hill men's golf team placed 10th in the Tusculum College Spring Invitational, which was held at Link Hills Country Club and concluded Sunday.
The Lions carded an overall score of 602 (34+). Tyler Grooms shot a six-over 148 for Mars Hill's best score, shooting a 74 on each day of the tournament. Lincoln Memorial took home the team championship with an overall score of 574 (6+). Gavin Hay of Carson-Newman won the individual championship with a five-under 137.
Chase Dembisky shot a 149, seven-over par. Lucas Harper, Seth Sayler and Charles Hartzog rounded out the Lions' top five.
Mars Hill will compete in the North Greenville Invitational, which begins Sunday, Mar. 24 in Tigerville, S.C.
