Lions in 9th After First Round at Roanoke

ROANOKE, VA.-- Mars Hill sits in ninth place after the first round of the Roanoke College Invitational, held Saturday at Roanoke Country Club.

Bluefield State leads the 14-team event after shooting an opening round 299. The Lions posted a team total of 320 and were led individually by Chase Dembisky and Lucas Harper, who shot at pair of 77's.

The Roanoke College Invitational concludes Sunday.
