Lions Place 10th at Tusculum Fall Classic

GREENEVILLE, TENN.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team placed 10th in the Tusculum Fall Classic, which concluded Tuesday at Link Hills Country Club.

Lion golfers shot a 303 in the second round to bring their two-day total to 601. Freshman Adam Lumley led MHU with a two-day total of 142, including a three-under 68 in the first round. Lincoln Memorial took home the team championship with a score of 552. Tre Mullins of LMU was the individual medalist, shooting an eight-under 134.

Chase Dembisky added a two-day score of 149, eight-over par. Cole Swezey, Tyler Grooms and Josh Rooney rounded out Mars Hill's top five.

Mars Hill will compete in the King University Men's Invitational, which begins Sep. 29 at the Country Club of Bristol.
