Lions Place 16th at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

SUNSET BEACH, N.C.-- Mars Hill's men's golf team placed 16th in the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Sea Trails Golf Club.

The Lions collected a two-day score of 612. Chase Dembisky lead Mars Hill with a 148 to tie for 27th place. Wingate placed first with a score of 574. Sebastian Anderson of Mount Olive was the individual medalist with a score of 141 to finish three-under par.

Mars Hill will compete in the State Farm Intercollegiate, which begins Oct. 14 at Woodlake Golf Club in Tazewell, Tenn.
