KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team sits in fifth place with a team score of 302 after the first round of the Irish Creek Intercollegiate. The Lions trail a trio of schools, Barton, Limestone and Newberry who each shot a team total of 291.
Charles Hartzog is in third place after shooting an even-par 71. Second round action will be played tomorrow
