Lumley Tied for Third After Opening Round of Food Lion SAC Championship

SEVIERVILLE, TENN.- The Mars Hill men's golf team competed in the opening round of the South Atlantic Conference Championship at Sevierville Golf Club on Sunday.
SAC Freshman of the Year Adam Lumley is tied for third place after a three-over-par 75. Lumley trails Wingate's Tyler Stone by two strokes heading into tomorrow's second round.
Lincoln Memorial leads Tusculum by one stroke following an opening round 305. Mars Hill is in 12th place after an opening round 325. The Lions trail Lenoir-Rhyne by one stroke and are nine strokes behind a four team logjam for seventh place.
Second round play begins Monday at 8:30 a.m.
