WILMINGTON, N.C.- Junior Chevy Hartzog was the only player to finish under par as he fired a two-under-par 70 in the opening round of the Echo Farms Intercollegiate.
Hartzog is the overall leader, followed by teammate Antonio Douat with a two-over-par 74. Other first round scores for Mars Hill include Adam Lumley (76), Levi Grogan (77), Filip Andersson (79) and Ken Dixon (85).
Douat led the Mars Hill "B" team, which sits in second place 18 strokes behind. Other players for the Lions are Luke Grogan (78), Nick Caruso (81) and Dalton Thompson (87).
