Lumley Named Semifinalist for Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award
NORMAN, Okla. – Senior men’s golfer Adam Lumley has been named a finalist for the Division II Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award as announced today.

NORMAN, Okla. – Senior men's golfer Adam Lumley has been named a finalist for the Division II Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award as announced today. Finalists for the award will be named May 18 while the recipient will be announced June 1 with the honor presented by Jack Nicklaus at a ceremony during the final round of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
In addition to receiving the Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award, the five recipients will compete in the Barbasol Shootout for an exemption into the PGA TOUR's Barbasol Championship, held July 20-23, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Grand National in Opelika, Ala.
Lumley, a senior from Coventry, United Kingdom, turned in the League's lowest Golfstat adjusted scoring average this season as he posted 71.78 strokes per round. Lumley, currently ranked No. 2 in the Southeast Region, recorded three tournament wins on the year and finished in the Top 10 in every event he played this season. He has fired par or under in five of his eight tournaments on the year, including five rounds in the 60's. His best round of the season came at the Tusculum Invitational on March 25 as he carded a 67 in the second round of the event.
