Lions place eighth at LMU River Rumble

The Mars Hill men's golf team placed eighth at the Lincoln Memorial University River Rumble Wednesday afternoon.

LOUDON, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team placed eighth at the Lincoln Memorial University River Rumble Wednesday afternoon.

Harry Butler was the top finisher for the Lions, placing 11th overall with a total score of +7, five strokes off of the lead. Nicholas Boone shot a +9 overall for a 24th place finish.

Luke Challis, with a four stroke improvement from his first round 80, finished in 41st with a +12 total score. Christian Ethier and Stephen Thomasson rounded out the Mars Hill team with 54th and 69th place finishes, respectively.
