Mars Hill places 18th at LMU Spring Kickoff

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - The Mars Hill men's golf team finished 18th at the Lincoln Memorial University Spring Kickoff Tournament Tuesday afternoon, held in St. Augustine, Florida.

Tuesday morning saw the competing teams conclude round two, which was put on hold due to darkness Monday night.  The Lions shot a combined +36 in the round, their lowest of the three.

Mars Hill entered the day in 19th and moved up one spot at the conclusion of the three-round tournament.  Nicholas Boone was the top placing Lion, finishing 68th in the field.

Luke Challis and Will Byrd placed 81st and 86th, respectively, while rounding out the Lions' squad were Callum Ritchie (102nd) and Stephen Thomasson (103rd).

Mars Hill returns to the links on Sunday, February 24th when they take part in the Diamondback Intercollegiate/Mars Hill Spring Invitational held in Loris, South Carolina.
