The Mars Hill men's golf team opened up the Tennessee River Rumble Monday afternoon in 17th place.

LOUDON, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's golf team opened up the Tennessee River Rumble Monday afternoon in 17th place.

Leading the Lions was Callum Ritchie, shooting +6 on the day to finish round one in 53rd place.  Both Nicholas Boone and Stephen Thomasson finished tied for 64th, shooting +7 on the day.

Xisco Llinas shot +8 on the day for a 74th place finish and Luke Challis rounded out the Lions' squad, shooting +13 on the day.
