Lions finish 11th at SAC Championships

The Mars Hill men's golf team concluded the 2019 season with an 11th place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon.

CAMDEN, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's golf team concluded the 2019 season with an 11th place finish at the South Atlantic Conference Championships Wednesday afternoon.

Stephen Thomasson ended the tournament with a 29th place finish, shooting +17 over the three-day event.  Callum Ritchie placed 45th overall, shooting +27 at the tournament.

Placing 49th, Nicholas Boone shot +28 while Xisco Llinas finished 53rd.  Rounding out the Lions' squad was Luke Challis, placing 55th.

The Lions shot a combined 944 over the three days, +104 over par.
