Burnett selected 53rd overall in NLL Draft

MARS HILL, N.C. - Former Mars Hill defenseman Mark Burnett was selected on Wednesday night with the 53rd overall pick (sixth round) of the 2011 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. He was picked by the Toronto Rock.

Burnett started 14 games last season and posted one goal and 37 ground balls. He was a 2011 All-Deep South Conference second-team selection.
