HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team (2-1-1, 0-0-1 SAC) drew with Coker (1-0-4, 0-0-1 SAC) 0-0 Saturday evening in South Atlantic Conference play.
The Cobras outshot Mars Hill 13-11 throughout the contest. Mars Hill peppered the Cobras' defense with eight shots in the second half with three finding the target.
Peter Plougmand led all players with five attempts while the duo of Jacques Fokam Sandeu and Frederic Benedix led Coker with three apiece.
Jasper Rump made three saves for Coker while James Price made a game-high four saves for Mars Hill.
The Lions return to the Ammons Family Athletic Center and Meares Stadium on Wednesday, September 13 when they face Lees-McRae at 7:30 p.m. in non-conference play.
