HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Mars Hill men's soccer team (2-4-5, 0-2-4 SAC) was defeated 3-0 by Linconln Memorial (6-2-2, 2-2-1 SAC) Tuesday afternoon.
Kriton Kiousis opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, finishing off a Daniel Burko pass.
Burko scored twice in the second half, eight minutes apiece, to put the Railsplitters up by three with 30 minutes to play.
Lincoln Memorial outshot the Lions 13-8 with Burko and Botond Skulka recording five shots apiece. Luke Manley led the Lions with two shot attempts.
Mars Hill hosts Wingate on Homecoming Friday at 7:30 p.m. inside Meares Stadium.
