Catawba Defeats Men's Swimming
The Mars Hill men’s swimming team dropped a dual meet to Catawba 118-82.

SALISBURY, N.C.- The Mars Hill men's swimming team dropped a dual meet to Catawba 118-82 in Johnson Pool on Saturday . The Lions fall to 3-2 in dual meets in the 2014-15 season.
Mars Hill began the meet with a victory in the 200 Yard Medley Relay as Kendall Corbett, Ludovico Corsini, Shane Whicker and Ryan Martin crossed the finish line in 1:38.25. Corsini was the only swimmer to break the 60 second mark as he claimed the 100 Yard Breaststroke in 58.29. Martin finished in second place in the 50 Freestyle (21.93) and third in the 100 Freestyle (50.87). Justin Gale finished in second place in the 500 Yard Freestyle (5:19.34).
The Lions will celebrate Senior Day on January 31 in a tri meet against King and Emory and Henry at 3 p.m.
