800 Freestyle Relay Record Falls at ASC Meet

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va.- The quartet of Trey Mason, Justin Gale, Ryan Martin and David Hallberg set a school record in the 800 Freestyle Relay with a new top time of 7:05.76 at the Appalachian Swimming Conference meet on Friday.   

Ludovico Corsini scored a second place finish in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 56.58, followed by Brian Davis in sixth (58.04). Kendall Corbett finished in sixth in the 100 Yard Backstroke (54.16).  Brady Rothschild finished in ninth in the 400 Yard IM (4:20.61). Hallberg (52.60) finished in seventh place in the A final of the 100 Yard Butterfly. Shane Whicker was the winner in the B final of the 100 Butterfly.

The meet concludes on Saturday with the prelims at 9 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m.
