Butler Named ASC Men's Swimmer of the Week

MARS HILL, N.C.- Mars Hill freshman Harrison Butler was named the Appalachian Swimming Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week, league officials announced on Wednesday. It is his first weekly honor of the 2015-16 season.

Butler won the 50 Backstroke in 25.67 seconds, the 100 Backstroke in 55.31 seconds and the 50 Butterfly in 25.65 in Friday night's season-opener against Warren Wilson. He was also part of the 200 Freestyle Relay team.

The Lions return to action next Friday, traveling to Lenoir-Rhyne for a 6 p.m. dual meet.
