New Records Set During Sewanee Invitational
SEWANEE, TENN. – The Mars Hill men’s swim team turned in an impressive performance during the first day of the Sewanee Invitational Friday afternoon.

SEWANEE, TENN. – The Mars Hill men's swim team turned in an impressive performance during the first day of the Sewanee Invitational Friday afternoon.
The 800 free relay, consisting of Erwin Ortiz, Matthew Walker, Ryan Martin, and Vitor Goncalves set a new school record after turning in a stellar time of 7:02.54. Erwin also set a new school mark in the 500, breaking the old record by five seconds. Walker picked up a win in the mile, while Goncalves tied for first in the 100 free.
The Lions will be back in the pool tomorrow to conclude the Sewanee Invitational.
