Ludovico Corsini swimming in Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games
Former Mars Hill swimmer Ludovico Corsini is finding success on the international level as he competes in the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
GOLD COAST, Australia - Former Mars Hill swimmer Ludovico Corsini is finding success on the international level as he competes in the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Corsini swam at Mars Hill for two years before transferring to the University of Cincinnati to finish his collegiate career. He is the 100 meter breaststroke record holder for the university and was All –Conference in 2014-15. Corsini is representing Mozambique and made it to the semi-finals in the 50 meter breast and 100 meter breaststroke. He swims the medley relay Tuesday afternoon.
"Ludo was a great swimmer and even better person while attending Mars Hill," head swim coach Teddy Guyer stated. "It is nice to see him doing so well on the international level and has a very good chance to make it to the next Olympics."
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games (GC2018) welcomed more than 6,600 athletes and team officials from 71 Commonwealth nations and territories to the Gold Coast and event cities Brisbane, Cairns and Townsville, to share in the celebration of sport, entertainment and culture.
