Lions place sixth at Fall Frenzy
The Mars Hill men's swim team finished sixth overall at the conclusion of the Fall Frenzy on Sunday evening.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team finished sixth overall at the conclusion of the Fall Frenzy on Sunday evening.
Elijah Sears set a school record in the 200 yard breaststroke, recording a time of 2:05.84. He finished sixth in the A-Final of the event.
In the 200 yard backstroke, Brendon Cyprianos won the B-Final with a time of 1:52.02 and Vitor Goncalves turned in a time of 46.72 for an eighth place finish in the 100 yard freestyle.
The team of Sears, Goncalves, Erwin Ortiz and Harrison Butler placed sixth in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:08.24.
Mars Hill finished the three day event with a total of 576 points.

The Lions will host Milligan and UNC Pembroke on Senior Day, held on Saturday, December 1st.
