CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's swim team opened up the 2020 Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships Thursday evening.

Erwin Ortiz picked up four points for the Lions, placing 13th overall in the 1,000 yard freestyle race, swimming a time of 9:51.40.  

The Lions earned another 26 points, placing sixth in the 200 yard medley relay.  The quartet of Brendon Cyprianos, Alex Bouhlel, Gavriel Hason, and Bruno Ferrari turned in a time of 1:36.26.
