Men's Tennis Cruises Over Milligan

MILLIGAN, TENN. - The Mars Hill men's tennis team defeated Milligan 7-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Mathes Tennis Center. Mars Hill improves to 2-0 on the season.

Euquerio Guerrero, Sam Lee, Raymond Donovan and Markus Gattner each had two victories on the afternoon. Guerrero and Lee teamed up for an 8-2 win over Colin Bumann and Zac DeFonce in the top doubles match. Donovan and Gattner were 8-5 victors over Matias Yanez and Alex Delozier.

In singles play, Guerrero was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at number one singles over DeFonce. Donovan was a winner in number three singles over Fernando Gonzales 6-3, 6-1. Carlos Suares Riesco defeated Jackson Lenoir 6-4, 6-4 with Gattner topping Alex Delozier 6-2, 6-1.

Mars Hill returns to action on September 30 at North Greenville.
