Lions pick up first victory of 2017-18 campaign

MARS HILL, N.C. - The Lions evened up their season with a convincing 6-3 win over the Milligan College Buffaloes in Mars Hill Tuesday afternoon.  Ben Reid, Fernando Neto and Kyrel Trim led the Mars Hill squad to their first victory of the season.

Neto continued his strong season by picking up another singles victory in straight sets.  Reid, Trim and Pedro Pinassi picked up the other Lions' singles victories.

The teams of Ried and Neto along with Trim and Tom Farman secured two of the three doubles victories for the Lions.

The Lions will be back in action Saturday, September 23 when they take on Limestone at home with matches starting at 1 p.m.
