Lion Athletes Compete in Christopher Newport Meet
Mars Hill sent two student-athletes to the Christopher Newport Pentathlon/Heptathlon, held on the campus of Christopher Newport Univeristy.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Mars Hill sent two student-athletes to the Christopher Newport Pentathlon/Heptathlon, held on the campus of Christopher Newport Univeristy. Junior Dawn Radford set a new school record in the Pentathlon with 2390 points on Tuesday.
Radford set a new personal record in the 60 meter hurdles, high jump and long jump. Radford finished in second place in the 800 meter run
Isaac Phyall is in fifth place after the first four events in the heptathlon. He set a new personal record in the long jump and 60 meter dash and was an inch away from a personal record in the high jump. Phyall will complete in the 60 meter hurdles, pole vault and 1000 meter run tomorrow.
