Lions Compete at App State Open on Saturday
Three Lions finished in the top five in their events in a last-chance meet on Saturday.

BOONE, N.C.- The Mars Hill men's track team had five student-athletes compete at the Appalachian State Open on Saturday.
Marcus Foster finished in third place in the 400 meter hurdles (54.46). Jay Myers finished in fourth place in the 100 meter dash in 10.65 seconds and fifth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 21.80. Dontonio Garrison finished the 800 meter run in 2:04.49. Alex Griggs finished 11th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:02.18. Daniel Lerner crossed the finish line in the 5,000 meter run in 17:28.46.
The Lions will travel to Lynchburg, Va. next week for the LC Multis.
