Men's Track Opens Indoor Season at JDL Collegiate Kickoff

The Lions' men's indoor track team opened the season at the JDL Collegiate Kickoff. The men's team broke two school records.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.- The Lions' men's indoor track team opened the season at the JDL Collegiate Kickoff.

The men's team broke two school records today. Cesar Reyes, Chase Shermer, Cameron Lackey and Nathan Jones ran a 8:16 in the 4X800 meter relay and broke an 11-year old record by eight seconds to place second in the event. Cesar Reyes also broke the 500 meter record by one second running 1:10.

Nathan Jones won the meet in the 3,000 meter with a time of 8:55. Mike Koch had a personal record in the 60 meter dash while Kenan Foxx had a personal record in the weight throw.
