Griggs And Gragg Shine at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. - Alex Griggs and Justin Gragg concluded the Raleigh Relays on Friday, March 25 hosted by North Carolina State University. The meet is the premier distance meet in the eastern United States and it features teams from all across the country.

Griggs wrote his name in the Mars Hill record book, shattering a 10-year old mark in the 10k race. His time of 30:30.69 eclipsed the old mark, held by former assistant coach Jon Stoehr, by an incredible 27 seconds.

Gragg also had a great showing as he was able to turn in a time of 14:48.78 in the 5k race.

The two runners will return to action on Saturday, April 2 as they travel to Spartanburg, S.C. to take part in the Terriers Relay.
