Mars Hill opens 2020 SAC Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Mars Hill men's track and field team opened the 2020 South Atlantic Conference Championships Saturday afternoon.

Skyler Cantrell placed 16th in the 5,000 meter, turning in a time of 16:34.06.  Blake Freeman turned in a 21st place finish with a time of 17:28.30.

The quartet of Jared Stanley, Tyrize Claud, Ben Brock, and Justin Race placed ninth in the 4,000 meter relay, recording a time of 11:05.24.

Austin Prince placed 20th in the long jump, recording a mark of 5.71 meters.
