Cross Country Results at Greensboro Invitational
GREENSBORO, N.C.- Both Mars Hill cross country teams at the Greensboro Invitational. Overall more than 2,500 runners competed in the event.
The women's team was led by Heidi Hooker (Lawsonville, N.C.) who finished seventh overall in the Division II race. Overall the team finished third out of eight teams. Close behind Hooker were teammates Cassie Adamson (Commerce Township, Mich.) in ninth overall and Hannah Moore (Franklin, N.C.) in17th place.
The Mars Hill men finished third among the Division II schools. Leading the way was Ryan Levander (Bismarck, N.D.) in 21st place overall. He was followed by teammates Carter Benge (Fayetteville, N.C.) in 38th place and Yonatan Arnold (Moore, Okla.) in 42nd place.
Both teams will compete next Saturday in the Greater Louisville Open and Division II Pre-National Championships. The meet will consist of over 100 of the top teams in the nation. The first race will begin at 9 a.m.
