Three Lions Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

Three Mars Hill men’s cross country student-athletes were named to the All-Southeast Region team, announced Wednesday by the USTFCCCA.

NEW ORLEANS, La.- Three Mars Hill men's cross country student-athletes were named to the All-Southeast Region team, announced Wednesday by the USTFCCCA.

Alex Griggs, Nathan Jones and Derek Gibson earned All-Region honors after finishing in the top 15. In addition to the individual honors, head coach Mike Owens was named Southeast Region Coach of the Year.

Mars Hill will compete in the NCAA National Championship meet next Saturday in Louisville, Ky. The men's race will begin at 11 a.m.
