Griggs Wins Bulldog Stampede

Alex Griggs won the Bulldog Stampede on Saturday. As a team, the Lions finished in 3rd place

WINGATE, N.C.- Senior Alex Griggs won the 2015 Bulldog Stampede on Saturday morning at the Wingate University Cross Country complex. As a team, the Lions finished in third place.

Griggs finished with an 8 kilometer time of 25:42.70. Nathan Jones scored a fifth place result, finishing in 26:05.39. Cesar Reyes finished in 19^th with a time of 26:45.94. Nick Resor earned a 24^th place result as he finished in 27:07.32. Brandon Beard was the last Lion to finish in a scoring position as he finished in 47^th place with a time of 27:58.89. Daniel Lerner finished the race with a time of 28:37.88, followed by Noah Allison with a time of 28:44.43.

Mars Hill returns to competition at the Queens Invite on October 9.
