Allison, Resor lead several Lions to personal best times
Several Mars Hill Lions accomplished their personal best times during the 8K race at the Furman Invitational Saturday morning. Noah Allison led the way, setting a new personal best time on the course from last year's race.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - Several Mars Hill Lions accomplished their personal best times during the 8K race at the Furman Invitational Saturday morning. Noah Allison led the way, setting a new personal best time on the course from last year's race.
Allison ran 25:47.00, which was forty-five seconds better than his 2016 effort. Nick Resor finished second for the team with a time of 27:15.4, a full minute and five seconds better than his race last season.
"Resor had an outstanding race," head coach Mike Owens would state.
Rounding out a solid effort for the Lions were personal best times for Jared Stanley (28:05.30), Matt Rogers (28:08.30), Skyler Cantrell (28;13.40), Ethan Murray (28:47.30) and Chris Gomez (30:39.60).

The men's cross country team will travel to Wingate, North Carolina on Saturday, September 23 to race in the Wingate Pre-Region. The race is slated to begin at 9 a.m.
