Mars Hill places third at Bulldog Stampede
The Mars Hill men’s cross country team placed third at the Bulldog Stampede, hosted by Wingate, Saturday morning.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed third at the Bulldog Stampede, hosted by Wingate, Saturday morning.
The Lions turned in a team time of 2:28:13.79 for the third place finish.
Nick Resor was the top placing Lions, finishing with a time of 28:40.19, which was good for 12th overall. Bryan Barbee ended the day in 14th with a time of 29:01.66.
William Barbee turned in a 22nd place run posting a mark of 30:18.25. James Benik and Blake Freeman placed 26th and 27th, respectively, while Ethan Murray rounded out the Mars Hill squad with a 30th place finish.

Mars Hill will take part in the North Georgia Invitational on Saturday, September 29 in the pre-regional meet. The race is set to start at 8:15 a.m.
