Mars Hill places 10th at UNG Invitational
The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 10th overall at the North Georgia Invitational Saturday morning.
GAINESVILLE, Ga. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 10th overall at the North Georgia Invitational Saturday morning.
Jared Stanley was the top placing runner for the Lions with a time of 27:42.39 which was good for a 34th place finish. Bryan Barbee turned in a time of 28:33.00 followed by Nick Resor's 28:56.70.
Finishing 65th overall, James Benik ran 29:04.33 and was followed closely by teammate William Barbee who ran 29:14.63. Blake Freeman, Skyler Cantrell and Ethan Murray turned in times of 29:38.22, 29:57.87 and 31:22.43, respectively.
Mars Hill ran a combined time of 2:23:31.05 with an average time of 28:42.21 per runner.

The Lions will next take part in the Royal Cross Country Challenge on Friday, October 12th. The race is set to begin at 4 p.m.
