Mars Hill places 16th at Southeast Region Championships

The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 16th at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Cross Country Championships, run Saturday morning.

OAKWOOD, Ga. - The Mars Hill men's cross country team placed 16th at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Cross Country Championships, run Saturday morning.

Nick Resor was the top finisher for the Lions, turning in a time of 34:21.79.  He placed 55th overall.  

Jared Stanley finished 80th overall with a time of 35:25.48 and Skylar Cantrell finished 86th with a time of 35:40.75.  Bryan Barbee finished just inside the top 100 with a 98th place finish.

Brad Barbee, Ethan Murray and Blake Freeman rounded out the Lions squad.

Mars Hill placed 16th overall, running a combined time of 2:58:18.93.
