Glymph Named AstroTurf SAC Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Mars Hill senior guard Camille Glymph has been name the AstroTurf South Atlantic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced Monday. This is Glymph's first Player of the Week honor this season.

In a 65-61 victory over Newberry on Saturday, Glymph scored 25 points with four rebounds and two assists. She was responsible for 15 of the Lions' last 17 points as they won their third straight contest over the Wolves in Stanford Arena.

Earlier in the week Glymph scored 25 points while shooting 47 percent from the field in a 75-72 loss to Carson-Newman. Glymph made three of five 3-point attempts and was six-for-eight from the free throw line. She also had three steals and three rebounds.

Glymph and the Lions travel to Anderson on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. start.
