MARS HILL, N.C. - The Mars Hill women's basketball team was recognized by the NCAA on Thursday, February 02 for being the only team in the country to have had four different players in the same game produce double-doubles.
During the November 30 contest against Livingstone, a game in which the Lions held on for a 79-75 win, Paige Chavis (24 pts-15 rebounds), Madison Ervin (15 pts.-10 rebounds), Jenny Edwards (12 pts.-14 rebounds), and Aliyah Farmer (12 pts.-11 rebounds) all eclipsed the double-double plateau.
The Lions will continue their late-season push on Saturday, February 4 as they play host to Newberry inside Chambers Gymnasium. Tipoff for that contest is scheduled for 2 p.m.
