Women’s Golf places sixth at Cherokee Valley Invite

TIGERVILLE, S.C. - Mars Hill finished sixth overall after the final round of the the Cherokee Valley Invitational. The team fired a two-day score of 789 (395+394).

Taylor Banks finished 19th to lead the Lions. She fired a 186 (91+95) in the two-day event. Diedre Biehn finished 22nd and shot a 197 (99+98) after the second day

Brittany McCown of Lincoln Memorial placed first with a 153 (75+78). The Lady Railsplitters finished first with a team score of 627 (309+318).
