Aramark Collegiate Invitational First Round Results

ETOWAH, N.C.-- The Mars Hill women's golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the Aramark Collegiate Invitational at Etowah Valley Country Club, which was played Monday.
Junior Tonya Gruel-Wright fired an 88 to pace the Lions in the first round. Wright's score put her in a tie for seventh place in the five-team event. Jacqueline McCormick is in tenth place after an opening round 90. Overall, Mars Hill shot a 377 (+89) on the first day of competition.
North Greenville leads team competition with a score of 350 (+62).
The Aramark Collegiate Invitational concludes with round two today.
